Welcome to “ATA Tigers,” our Pre-K & Kindergarten life-skills martial arts program. It features important life-skills taught in an age-specific curriculum that is fun and engaging. ATA Tigers gives your child the tools to succeed at home and in school.

Each week your child will build his or her confidence learning life skills such as focus, teamwork, respect, and discipline. They’ll gain valuable awareness of their body through coordination, control, and fitness. You will feel confident knowing they can safely act when they practice what to do when faced with a bully or stranger.

Each class, you’ll get to join your child on the mat for the parent participation portion to practice these life-skills in everyday situations. Your child will learn to look you in the eyes when you speak to them and to wait respectfully when you are on the phone. They’ll practice good manners by answering you with “Please” and “Thank you” and to do things the first time you ask.

ATA Tiger’s purpose is to help your child be their very best. We are grateful to offer this life-skills martial arts based program to you and your child.

Taekwondo Is The Best Thing You Can Do For students! Through martial arts discipline and positive reinforcement students will develop self-confidence, self-esteem and self-respect. We utilize an internationally recognized life-skills system to help kids learn the values of being goal oriented and passionate about excellence. Students will develop an outgoing attitude and the ability to be his or her best.

Students will build character in our classes as we reinforce the values you teach at home like honesty and integrity. They will develop self-discipline, control, respect for adults and courtesy for others in a positive and fun learning environment.  We build healthy bodies and fitness awareness by making sure our students are always learning, sweating, and smiling.

Our qualified instructors offer a sensitive approach to the issues facing children in today's society, teaching them basic safety and awareness.

While famous for its wide range of kicks, Taekwondo also emphasizes breaking power, such as splitting wood using only the bare hands and feet. Training involves a variety of techniques, to include punching, kicking, dodging, jumping, parrying and blocking. Taekwondo also focuses on sparring and learning formal patterns of movement called forms or “Poomsae”. "Poomsae", a sequence of practical self-defense moves against single and multiple attackers.

Songahm Taekwondo believes in sparring to build reflex, timing and "how to react" spontaneously without knowing your opponent's attack. It is taught in a safe and controlled environment where you learn at your own pace. Sparring is one of the best forms of cardio, conditioning and strength training.

Kick Boxing

Our Kick Boxing program is a progressive curriculum created to inspire a generation of respected fight athletes who will stand up for themselves, their family and what they believe in. Athletes that are respectful, confident, brave, humble, positive, quick, powerful and strive to excel in life.

The simple and easy to follow program keeps the experience consistent, fun to learn as you grow both physically and mentally in a place with a real sense of community.

Athletes excel to a new level from the variety of modern class platforms, sparring combinations, challenges, drills, fight knowledge and events. Class plans mix up motivating music, warm ups, stretches, solid foundation techniques, core fundamentals, cross training combat sprints, team challenges, sport fighting, self defense and sparring games for a fun experience.
